PENCIL
Instead of using a traditional drawing pencil for the Pencil series art, I use finely sharpened mechanical leads when developing my works. Drawing leads from “H” to “6B” allow me to work up and down the gray scale.
Additionally, the Strathmore papers I use have a high tooth that I can roll the pencil across at various pressures to create different light to dark values.
